What a wonderful day we enjoyed with Mandy at New Testament Baptist Church for our ladies' brunch! Loved her sharing her testimony with us. Love her heart for the Lord! My prayer is that God will use her in a mighty way as she shares all He has done in her life. What an encouragement to all of us!

Hello my name is Lynn and a few months ago we put our daughter in Teen challenge. This is a biblical 12 step program for girls 14-17 with life controlling issues. She is in
Roanoke, VA. Thoughts of suicide, anger, depression ect. We options for her before I brought her there. She just started the program over because of her attitude. I love my daughter and want her to get a sense of what the good lord provides. She will be there another 15 months. It has been hard, financially and mentally. Yet I know this decision is the best there was. Here is the web site if you want to look at it. Please pray for my daughter who only will get better from here. Her name is Brianna Matthews (15 yrs old) ?For I know the plans I have for you,? declares the Lord, ?plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.? ? Jeremiah 29:11, here is the web site: https://www.gofundme.com/teenchallenge-brie Please pray for her. Thanks so much With best wishes, Lynn Matthews

Hi Pandy!!! lol, Mrs. Lisa told me about your website...cool. Anyway , I just wanted to tell how just by knowing you at the hotel has really blessed me in my situation. I don't know if i told you or not but I was diagnosed with lupus and pulmonary Hypertension back in 2013. You have encouraged me to live life to the fullest without you even saying it. I see you with life that God has put in you and Definently see the Jesus in you. You really brighten my day because keep a smile on your face even if you don't want to show it. I know I could tell you this person but I want to show the world how you've blessed me just by the spirit you carry. I look at my situation and I thank God that I'm able to still work a fulltime and be active with my kids and husband. I could've been in a worse situation but to God be the Glory anything is possible. I love you and keep that smile on your face because just by your smile, it blesses others. God Bless You and your family.

Mandy, I admire your testimony and standing up for Christ through your health struggles. The ones who don't have a "normal" health life do not take for granted how precious every second of the day is a special gift. I am one of those people. You are inspiring in so many ways, and your story never ceases to amaze me every time. If we all can bind together and be prayer warriors for one another, be that friend to listen, a shoulder to cry on, a testimony of faith......it will make going through this life here much easier. Cause this life, we are just passing through. I wanna make the best of it. I want to be that inspiration to someone else. That friend they can depend on. You keep on striving for God's will, and I'm telling ya, (I've felt this for some time now), He is gonna use you in a mighty way for Him. You're gonna be so busy with speaking engagements, you're gonna have to get another daily planner. :o). Take care my friend. Hope to meet you soon.

Mandy, I only know you through post from Susan Crutchfield and Jennifer Holman. I just looked through this site, and I was blown away! Your faith in the Lord and dependence on Him is such an inspiration. Many people who struggle with illness and suffering turn away from the Lord and demand to know, "Why me?" Your positive outlook, your joy, and your constant focus on the Lord are a testimony to all those you reach. Thank you, thank you, thank you for sharing your life, your struggles, your hope, and your love for the Lord. May He richly bless you and your family as you each seek to serve and honor Him.

Hello Mandy,
I recent hard you speak at my friend's church for the women's annual Christmas party. Your story is truly amazing, you have a glow about you, and to be honest, when I saw the first time, I didn't even notice your leg was not there, I just saw your smile. Sometimes I struggle with depression, and I had had several issue to get depressed about, but your story is very motivating, and it makes me think, I have to be strong and keep moving. If the will is there you can live and live a happy life. Life is a fight, and a test, and if you give up on life, it will give up on you. I always beleived these things but it is hard to focus on that but there are people like you, that have been through it all, and still come out shining!! God Bless you in your journey and you are one of the lucky ones that knows your purpose in life, not many people know that........ God Bless... thank you for sharing your story!!

I saw you at Hope Community Church last night. I couldn't wait to get home to tell my husband about your story. I want to tell you that I first saw you before I saw your "disability", and that I noticed right away that you are a beautiful person. You have an inner beauty that absolutely RADIATES about you! And then when I saw you on stage, I have to say, having one leg certainly is not a disability for you. My sister and I were amazed how you moved so fluently. You are truly an amazing woman, and I am blessed for having witnessed your story. Thanks & God bless!

Thanks for sharing with FPC-Newton last night. I know it was wonderful to have so many of your family there and we love your grandparents. My wife, Patty, and I were in the ensemble group and I watched the joy on your face as you sang along with us on "Amazing Grace/My Chains Are Gone." Also, we saw you speaking with one of our very special young members who suffers with Tourette's Syndrome. We remarked that meeting him might have been the reason that God brought you to that place at that time! God Bless You!

Mandy,
I went to school with your mom and met your dad at 16 working at Winn-Dixie. I was talking with your mom on facebook tonight after all these years and learned of your life and what you have experienced. You are a beautiful young lady that God has a purpose for here on this earth. You are such an inspiration! Your life is touching and I'm sure has touched so many people. Watching you has possibly given them hope and a reason to live through their desperate situation. I pray that God will continue to use your life to touch others through your testimony and hopefully someday, someone will find a cure. If not, we will all have a new body someday. God bless you always and I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers.

WOW! I don't even have words right now to express what I'm feeling. I have been so touched and so moved by what little I've been able to read and look at this afternoon. Can't watch the You Tube posts til I get home, but am looking forward to seeing them. I DID get to look at the picture albums though and loved seeing all the pics. (Oh - and I DON'T know Taylor Hicks but I DO live close to where he is from - LOL)
Looking forward to exploring the site more as I have time and being brought even closer to my Father in Heaven because of it. Truly, truly a GODLY website - I don't see how ANYONE could read ANY of this and not feel His love washing all over them.

Mandy,
You are an angel...always have been always will be, your wings are hidden, but you were sent here for us all to have inspiration. You are a gift from God, and I feel blessed to have had you as a friend in my lifetime. I have sat here at work today reading everything, looking thru the pictures, crying my eyes out over your Moms story, and remembering some of our times together thru High School. Your story is like no other, something that really should be published for the world to see...everyone should experience the joy you bring, the tears of the pain you and your family have been thru, your strength, your courage, everything you are that so many of us look up to! You are a real star Mandy...you have given so much, and I so mean so much...but I hope you always know what you have given to everyone whos life you have entered, is so powerful...you have touched so many with that smile of yours, and that giggly laugh, I can hear it now...LOVE IT...my kids will be told about you! Not sure of God's plan and why this happened to someone as wonderful as you, and at such a young age, but I can tell you the impression you leave on the hearts of those around you is sent from him! You are everything in a woman I wish I could be...to have your strength for one hour is more than I could ever dream of. You are loved Mandy...everything about you! Thank you for being an angel sent from heaven for me in my life! Thank you for sharing your story!
Love you girl!

Hello Mandy,
We met at the airport in ATL last Saturday, Oct 17. I was with my two sisters and we were on our way back to Kansas City after having spent a wonderful few days with our brother Nick in Atlanta. I just want to tell you what a pleasure it was to meet you and how much you impressed me. You have such a joy about it and it transfers to others - you quickly make friends and give yourself to others right away. I have been thinking about it and I think that God wants me to pray for you and your ministry. I think that people are put in our path for reasons and touch our lives with God kisses. If you are in Kansas City again please let me know. I would love to come and hear your story and will bring my sisters and daughter and niece as well. If you need a place to stay while in town, my home is always open to you.
Sincerely,
Mary Jo McCoy

Dearest Mandy,
It has been such a blessing to meet with you this evening (10/17/09) and spend a few precious minutes breaking bread. God has granted you His Spirit and you are honoring Him by sharing the reason for the hope that is within you.
Your determination to reach out to others and to use the experiences that you have lived as a way to show the love of God and His blessings to you and the joy in your heart is so winsome that everyone knows it is real and not at all artificial and pretense.
May you continue in your quest to share the faith in the salvation for which you have been given and the true joy that you have each and every day, despite your affliction.
Many people suffer much less but have hope other than in man - may you continue reaching out to point The Way.
Our prayers will go out for you each and every day.
Blessings,
Arlene

You rock, my girl! You are perhaps the strongest, most self-assured woman of God that I have EVER met, (and I have met a lot of dynamic women thanks to my association with Mary Kay Cosmetics!). I have heard it said that you can tell the size of a woman's spirit by the size of the problem it takes to stop her. Nothing stops you! God put you in my life and I am grateful! It is exciting to see you grow into all you can be in Him!

Her message was so powerful, and completely changed my way of thinking from then on. Each and every day I am so thankful for my life and for the new attitude that Mandy's words inspired!
